EMS HOUSING SCHEME

The EMS Housing Scheme envisioned with the objective that there should be no homeless family in the state was launched in Thrissur.At the tenth death anniversary of E.M.S,Chief Minister V.S.Achuthanandan,performed the tate level inauguration of thescheme at Kodakara,Thrissur.Minister for Local Self Govenment,Paloli Mohammed Kutty,presided over the function.

Mmonthly pension of agriculture workers,Fishermen,coir,cashew,handloom,Beedi,Building construction workers etc are incrased to Rs 20/- per month.Health insurance scheme for all families below poverty line.The pension for physically handicaped and mentallychallenged are to be enhanced from Rs 160/- to Rs 200/-,Rs 30 crore for Kudumbasree,Five crore for modernisation of Coir industry.Goverment look for the welfare of the poor people
