KERALA STATE BUDGET 2008-2009

Mmonthly pension of agriculture workers,Fishermen,coir,cashew,handloom,Beedi,Building construction workers etc are incrased to Rs 20/- per month.Health insurance scheme for all families below poverty line.The pension for physically handicaped and mentallychallenged are to be enhanced from Rs 160/- to Rs 200/-,Rs 30 crore for Kudumbasree,Five crore for modernisation of Coir industry.Goverment look for the welfare of the poor people
