State Electricity Minister Aryadan Mohammed on Friday said that hike in electricity tariff is inevitable.
The proposal for a power rate hike will be discussed at the Cabinet meeting, the minister said.
The demand of KSEB to raise the charge is before the Electricity Regulatory commission. He said that KSEB has been functioning with a monthly loss of Rs 75 crore. Final decision would be taken after considering all points, Aryadan added.
